New shoes

I got Lilja her first pair of real sneakers this week and she had fun clomping all around the house in them and trying to figure out how they work.

Naked fun!

Okay, is it just me, or is this not the cutest naked butt there is!

vinter vunderland

Lilja's second experience with snowshoeing....she loved watching the falling snowflakes! The new jacket from Robert & co kept her cozy and warm too! Thanks!!

pianissimo

I found this rinky dink shroeteresque old piano on ebay and Lilja pulled out all the stops when I gave it to her, including Stevie Wonder AND Jerry Lee Lewis immitations! Who knew??

First cake!

Lilja got a chance to experience delayed gratification, although she made up for it with cream cheese frosting overload!

What a goose!

Lilja hits the jackpot Christmas dinner with a lovely leg to call her own!

Christmas girl

After a bowl of fresh blueberries, a romp with new rainy day ducky from toasty and trying out her new stacking blocks from Mag, Lilja decides that Christmas is a good thing.

Doo rag!

Birthdays are fun!

Lilja finally got a chance to open a few presents and a howling birthday card after being sick for a week. Some things are worth waiting for!

Happy girl

Surprisingly, this picture was taken the morning of her first birthday. She was happy as a clam here, but by the evening was sick with fever and experienced her first visit to the ER. In a few days she was back to her perky, charismatic self!
