I found this rinky dink shroeteresque old piano on ebay and Lilja pulled out all the stops when I gave it to her, including Stevie Wonder AND Jerry Lee Lewis immitations! Who knew??

First cake!
Lilja got a chance to experience delayed gratification, although she made up for it with cream cheese frosting overload!
Christmas girl
After a bowl of fresh blueberries, a romp with new rainy day ducky from toasty and trying out her new stacking blocks from Mag, Lilja decides that Christmas is a good thing.
Birthdays are fun!
Lilja finally got a chance to open a few presents and a howling birthday card after being sick for a week. Some things are worth waiting for!
Happy girl
Surprisingly, this picture was taken the morning of her first birthday. She was happy as a clam here, but by the evening was sick with fever and experienced her first visit to the ER. In a few days she was back to her perky, charismatic self!
